Kazmiera J. Jarosz

Kazmiera J. Jarosz, née Knap, age 89, Was a resident of Chicago, Garfield Ridge Community. She passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Marian F. Jarosz for over 67 years and was the love of his life. Kazmiera was a traditional wife and mother, who not only worked a full-time job, but raised four beautiful children as well. She was an exceptional cook, who enjoyed making traditional Polish dishes and hosting friends and family. Beneath her tough exterior, she had a heart of gold. She was a loving and generous woman who would not hesitate to lend a helping hand no matter the person or circumstance. She was a stern woman who had strong values and never strayed far from them. She instilled not only strength but also compassion in her children. She loved nothing more than spending her time with her husband and her family. She lived a simple life, and she was a devout Catholic who spent every weekend in church. She loved packing up the family and accompanying her husband in Yorkville, IL where they spent time at the Polish National Alliance campground. Here is where the family carried out their Polish traditions with live music and dancing. No matter how much fun the family was having, mass was a priority. This is testament to their strong Catholic faith and why we all have gotten to experience generational blessings which we will continue to carry with us for generations to come. (Magda), Lil Tino, Sonia, Daniel Jr. (Crystal), David (Maliza), Desiree (Joel), Diana (Rich) and Jonathan. Great Grandmother of Jack, Bozena, George, Angelica, Tommy, Baby Tino, Mackalynn, Julianna, Liam, Nia, Jaleah, Michael, Elijah, Matthew, and baby girl Sueno on the way. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 2, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Faustina Kowalska Parish for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Kazmiera will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery next to her beloved husband.
