Decideria Sustaita passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She was the loving Wife of the late Reynaldo. Beloved Mother of Esthela (Heriberto) Davila. Cherished Grandmother of Leticia Sustaita and Oscar Davila (Janet Chavez). Adored Great Grandmother of Daniel, Sofia and Julianna. Dear Sister of Casilda Pineda Espinoza, Agustina Pineda Espinoza, Hipolito (Carmela) Pineda Espinoza, and Maria Pineda Espinoza (Roberto). Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Special aunt to Martha Pineda Puente and adoptive grandmother to Monica Velazquez who took such wonderful care of Decideria. With sparkle and humor, Decideria was always interested in others, giving of her time and energy. She had great strength and wisdom and was filled with love and good cheer that she showered onto the many children that she cared for and helped raise through the years and so, She was everyone’s much loved “Mami Lito” . The neighbors and community admired her for her beautiful gardens which she spent hours taking care of during the summer. Her family and friends valued her delicious food, brilliance, laughter, generosity, wisdom, mentoring, honesty and above all, love. The center of the family. She will be deeply missed, always loved and forever remembered. Visitation is Thursday, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.( 55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation on Friday is from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to Providence of God Church for a 10 AM Mass. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery. Decideria Sustaita falleció en paz en su casa con su familia a su lado, el sábado 11 de junio de 2022. Era la amada esposa del difunto Reynaldo. Amada Madre de Esthela (Heriberto) Dávila. Querida abuelita de Leticia Sustaita y Oscar Dávila (Janet Chavez). Adorada bisabuelita de Daniel, Sofia y Julianna. Querida Hermana de Casilda Pineda Espinoza, Agustina Pineda Espinoza, Hipolito (Carmela) Pineda Espinoza y Maria Pineda Espinoza (Roberto). Querida tía de muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Tía especial de Martha Elena Pineda Puente y abuelita adoptiva de Mónica Velázquez, quien cuidó de manera tan maravillosa a Doña Decideria. Con chispa y humor, Decideria siempre se preocupó por los demás, entregando su tiempo y energía. Ella tenía una gran fuerza y sabiduría y estaba llena de amor y buen ánimo que derramó sobre los muchos pequeños que cuidó y ayudó a criar a lo largo de los años y, por lo tanto, era la muy querida “Mami Lito” de todos. El barrio y la comunidad admiraban su bello jardín, donde ella pasaba horas atendiendo a sus flores y plantas durante el verano. Su familia y amigos valoraron su rica comida, brillantez, risa, generosidad, sabiduría, tutoría, honestidad y, sobre todo, su amor. El centro de la familia. Ella será profundamente extrañada, siempre amada y recordada para siempre. El velorio es el jueves, de 4 p. m. a 8 p. m. en Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (calle 55 al oeste de la Harlem). El velorio del viernes es desde las 8:30 a. m. hasta la hora de las oraciones a las 9:30 a. m. Iremos en procesión desde la funeraria hasta la iglesia Providencia de Dios para una misa a las 10 am. Entierro en el cementerio St. Casimir.
